Yangshuo Water Park

         

The 20-kilometer Sister Liu Above-water Park along the lower reaches of the Li River (from Yangshuo to Puyi)is the outdoor setting of the famous film Sister Liu. The area is called "diamond channel" due to the scenery:  the wide river surface, the tranquility and clearness there.

In the park,tourists can set sailing boats, ride bamboo rafts, catch fish and shrimp and play the roles of Brother A Niu, the singing competition of Scholar and Sister Liu. They can enjoy themselves by viewing the beautiful landscape, experiencing special local scenes and customs as well.

You can cruise on the boat from Yangshuo town downstream to Fuli old town, then back to Yangshuo and it takes you about 3 hours altogether. You will see the towering pinnacle, water buffaloes, cormorant fishing, duck farms, fish raising on the net, bamboo groves, etc.
